Calls for geothermal energy and hydropower extended
In response to requests from potential applicants and in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the Minister of Climate and the Environment has decided to extend the deadlines for submitting applications. The decision concerns the calls for geothermal energy and small hydropower plants that have been announced on May 18, 2020 under the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme.
As a result the deadlines have been postponed by two months, in accordance with the following schedule:
Programme Area: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Security
- Increasing the efficiency of energy generation in existing small hydropower plants (up to 2 MW) – new deadline 31 December 2020, at 3 p.m. (instead of 30 October 2020, at 3 p.m.);
- Geothermal energy production – new deadline 31 December 2020, at 3 p.m. (instead of 30 October 2020, at 3 p.m.).
