Department of Africa and the Middle East

The Department of Africa and the Middle East monitors the internal situation and politics of the countries within the field of its competence.

It coordinates the development of bilateral relations, initiates measures in that domain, and performs evaluations. The Department oversees Poland’s participation in the structures of multilateral cooperation with the countries of Africa and the Middle East as well as interregional collaboration. It is responsible for the substantive activity of the relevant Polish diplomatic missions abroad.
