Department of United Nations and Human Rights

The Department of the United Nations and Human Rights is in charge of the policy pursued by the Republic of Poland on the forum of the UN system’s organisations, the Council of Europe, and – with regard to human rights – on the EU and OSCE forum.

It coordinates Poland’s foreign policy on human rights and its efforts to elaborate Poland’s position on global problems addressed on the UN forum as well as coordinating matters related to the financial obligations of the Republic of Poland towards the UN budgets and electoral issues related to the elective bodies in the UN system.
