Secretary of State, Head of the National Revenue Administration
Graduate from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (1998) and postgraduate studies in the Centre for Europe of the same university (2001). From 1998 to 2002, she was working at the Central Board of Customs, and since 2002 she has been working at the Ministry of Finance, most recently as head of the Customs Department. She was actively involved in activities related to Poland’s accession to the European Union, and codrafted the Customs Law Act and its implementing provisions. In 2016, she coordinated the implementation of the new provisions of the Union Customs Code. Over a period of more than 20 years, she has initiated, or coordinated, the process of introducing a range of legal and organisational arrangements to support economic operators importing and exporting goods to/from third countries. She was also responsible for the process of digitalisation of customs processes service. These actions have been successful and 100 % of customs declarations are currently processed electronically. On her initiative innovative legal solutions for customs procedures have been put in place. Recently, she has successfully carried out a reform of customs clearance operations — the implementation of the Customs Clearance Centres (CUDO).
Awarded with the Bronze Award of Merits for the Customs Service (2016) and the Medal Commemorating 100 year of Polish independence (2018).
Married, mother of three sons.
