We have simplified the border crossing procedure for trucks with humanitarian aid for Ukraine at two border crossing points: in Korczowa and in Dorohusk. Simplified customs clearance is possible on the basis of a completed and submitted form. As a result, Ukraine will more quickly receive humanitarian aid provided by Poland and the rest of the free world. Thank you for helping Ukraine!

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has met in Rzeszów with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Talks concerned primarily the current situation in Ukraine and reinforcement of the eastern flank of NATO. There are currently over 10 thousand American soldiers stationed in Poland. This week, the Head of the Polish Government also talked over the phone with Vice-President of the United States Kamala Harris about support and assistance for Ukraine in light of the barbaric aggression on the part of Russia. President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda also communicates on a regular basis with President of the United States Joe Biden.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki visited the headquarters of the Governmental Agency for Strategic Reserves located in Niemce in the Lubelskie Voivodeship. Responsibilities of the Agency include organisation of logistics for international aid as well as organisation of reception facilities for Ukrainian refugees. The Government assures that all individuals who arrive in Poland will receive aid. Poland cooperates closely with Ukraine, providing, among others, drugs, food and firefighting equipment.

On 5 March, the head of the Polish government talked to the Prime Minister of Norway as part of the ongoing coordination activities carried out by the Polish Prime Minister in the scope of Europe's joint response to Russia's illegal attack on Ukraine. The Prime Ministers discussed the coordination of comprehensive support to Ukraine and humanitarian aid to people sheltering from hostilities. The politicians also discussed the strengthening of sanctions against Russia, security and defence. One of the most important topics was energy security - in the context of Norway's key role in the European supply system.

At the request of the Moldovan authorities, on 4 March Prime Minister Morawiecki held a phone call with Prime Minister of Moldova Natalia Gavriliţa. The discussion focused on actions taken by both Poland and Moldova, as well as the wider international community, in connection with Russia's aggression against Ukraine.

On 3 and 4 March 2022, Minister Konrad Szymański took part in an informal meeting of the General Affairs Council in Arles, France. The focal point of the discussion was the situation in Ukraine in relation to the Russian aggression.

On 4 March, the head of the Polish government held talks with the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium to discuss a joint response to Russia's illegal attack against Ukraine. Among the issues discussed were the strengthening and coordination of comprehensive assistance for Ukraine, including providing humanitarian aid to war refugees. The Prime Ministers also discussed security and defence issues.

On the 101st anniversary of signing of the “Convention on Defensive Alliance between the Republic of Poland and the Kingdom of Romania”, the Prime Ministers of Poland and Romania held intergovernmental consultations. Topics discussed during the meeting between the leaders of the largest countries of the eastern flank of NATO included bilateral relations between the two countries, concerns related to security and defence, matters from the agenda of the EU and issues related to regional policy. The Governments of Poland and Romania have concluded an agreement on cooperation between their defence industries, as well as agreements on closer cooperation in the field of strategic reserves and on diplomatic and academic cooperation. Previous consultations were held in Warsaw (2018) and in Bucharest (2019).

In recent days, false information about the alleged mistreatment of particular countries citizens by Polish and Ukrainian services has appeared in the public space. Manipulated photos and videos circulate on social media to discredit and tarnish the image of both Ukraine and Poland. The media have become another theatre of war, which is why we urge you not to be manipulated. The target of disinformation attacks is not only Ukraine, but also the Western world.
