The visit to Poland started with a meeting at the Agency's headquarters. The guests were welcomed by the Director of the Analysis and Reporting Department, Katarzyna Kotańska, and the Deputy Director, Emilia Godlewska. Both hosts and guests emphasised that our countries have a lot in common, which is why cooperation is going so well. The meeting was chaired by Dawid Ciupak, who is the manager of the twinning project that has been running since 2022.
It should be recalled that representatives of EU paying agencies from France and Lithuania also participate in this project, which is led by ARMA.
The aim of this programme is to prepare Serbian farmers, fruit growers or processors in the agri-food sector for EU standards.

Presentations by Polish experts focused on the sugar, hops, tobacco, fruit and vegetable and livestock industries. The roles and responsibilities of the EU paying agency and the land parcel identification system were also discussed. Representatives from Serbia thanked the Agency staff for their support and assistance so far.
On the following days, field visits to the Lubelskie Voivodeship were planned. The guests visited the Institute of Fertilisation and Soil Science - National Research Institute in Puławy, as well as farms of ARMA beneficiaries involved in cultivating hops, tobacco and sugar beet.
