Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland, Milena Łukasiewicz, visited Jamaica

The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Republic of Poland, Milena Łukasiewicz, provided Polish citizens in Jamaica with Consular Assistance. 
She also paid a courtesy call on the Undersecretary of State for Bilateral and Regional Affairs of Jamaica, Her Excellency Ms. Deidre Miller. During the meeting, the Undersecretary thanked Poland for the support provided to the Jamaican students for their transfer from the city of Kiev, Ukraine to Poland, and later to Jamaica. For her part, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. thanked Poland for its cooperation in multilateral forums and took the opportunity to discuss the political situation and other bilateral issues between the two countries.
To conclude her visit, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. received in Montego Bay a Polish sailboat belonging to the Fryderyk Chopin Szczecin Foundation. The arrival of this sailboat in Jamaica, with the Niebieska Szkola team on board, was part of the commemoration of the Thirtieth Anniversary of the first voyage made by this sailboat. The Foundation is developing relations with various sailing schools in Kingston and Montego Bay, with the aim of creating partnerships for cooperation and exchange between Poland and Jamaica.
