05.04.2024

The European Commission has completed the written procedure finally approving the disbursement of the first tranche of money from the National Reconstruction Plan to Poland. By mid-April, we should have PLN 27 billion to invest in the development of the whole country.

First application for payment from the National Recovery Plan for Poland accepted

Poland submitted its first application for payment from the National Recovery Plan in mid-December 2023. In February, the European Commission issued a preliminary positive assessment of the first Polish application for EUR 6.3 billion, i.e. PLN 27 billion. From then until now, the procedures required under the EU regulations have been ongoing, and Poland has passed them without objection at every stage.

Under the National Recovery Programme, Poland is about to receive EUR 59.8 billion (PLN 268 billion), including EUR 25.27 billion (PLN 113.28 billion) in grants and EUR 34.54 billion (PLN 154.81 billion) in preferential loans.
