Amb. Krzysztof Dobrowolski

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Malaysia

Krzysztof Dobrowolski is a career diplomat. He joined the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1999.

He has a degree in Oriental Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and is a graduate of the National School of Public Administration in Warsaw.

Krzysztof Dobrowolski has held a variety of positions at the MFA headquarters, mainly focused on cooperation with Asia, including that of Deputy Director of the Asia-Pacific Department (2009 to 2011 and most recently 2015 to 2023). He also served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassies of the Republic of Poland in Bangkok (2004 to 2008) and in Beijing (2011 to 2015).

He has represented Poland in various multilateral meetings between European and Asian countries, including ones within the ASEM process (Asia-Europe Meeting).

In May 2023, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.

He is married with two children.
