A delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur with the Ambassador participated in the International Day of Peace celebrations in Taiping. The event was jointly organised by the Embassy of Poland and Partners for Peace Malaysia (PFPM). The celebrations included laying a wreath at the War Cemetery in Taiping; meeting with local youth; the opening of an exhibition about Nicolaus Copernicus; a visit to the school for intellectually disabled children "Sekolah Semangat Maju Taiping", which the Embassy of Poland has been supporting since 2019, as well as planting of peace trees as a symbol of hope for the future.
