11.06.2024 BialystokPrime Minister: Voivodes need to be ready to manage crisesPrime Minister Donald Tusk and Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak attended a meeting with voivodes in Białystok. Their talks concerned coordinating measures undertaken by public administration bodies in view of state security. Voivodes need to be fully focused and always ready to respond to crises and emergencies. During the meeting, the attendees also discussed reinstating the buffer zone and the temporary exclusion order along on the Polish-Belarusian border.

10.06.2024 WarsawThe task of the state is to protect and defend the borderAt Monday's exit meeting in Białystok, the Council of Ministers adopted a resolution on the establishment of the 'National Deterrence and Defence Programme – Shield East'. The Government also adopted a resolution on the situation on the eastern border of the Republic of Poland. Later this week, the second part of the Council of Ministers meeting is scheduled to work on next year's draft budget and minimum wage.

07.06.2024 BialystokSoldiers and officers must feel the supportPrime Minister Donald Tusk met with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Minister of Justice Attorney General Adam Bodnar. The talks focused on the detention of Polish soldiers, after firing warning shots while on duty at the Polish-Belarusian border. The Prime Minister has decided to dismiss Tomasz Janeczek, the Deputy Prosecutor General in charge of the military prosecution. The Head of the Government also obliged Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to prepare proposals for changes to the law. Regulations must support soldiers when they use weapons in self-defence or defence of Polish territory.

The government has its eyes on projects focused on combating disinformation and new technological projects. Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Brad Smith also discussed Microsoft's role in supporting Ukraine during cyberattacks. Microsoft also committed its support for the development of the Polish AI Valley.

The distinguished experts will meticulously examine the events that took place between 2004 and 2024 – primarily what has or may have an impact on Poland's current and future security.

The situation is remains tense, as irregular migrants keep escalating and becoming more aggressive. On Tuesday, 28 May, one Polish soldier was stabbed. Donald Tusk reaffirmed his support and increased safety for Polish officers and soldiers.

Donald Tusk and Kyriakos Mitsotakis are calling for a 'flagship' programme - a European air defence shield to strengthen the European Union's overall defence capabilities and encourage European arms companies to develop cutting-edge technology. It will also show that Europe is united and determined to take action for self-defence.

Google has been active on the Polish market for nearly 20 years. As of today, the company has 1700 Polish employees and is currently planning new investments.
