Adam Szłapka

Member of Parliament of the 8th, 9th and 10th term of office. Since 2019, Chairman of Nowoczesna, previously Secretary General since its establishment.

He belonged to the Parliamentary Committee for Secret Services and the Foreign Affairs Committee, currently a member of the European Union Commission. He was the chairman of the parliamentary group on the future of the EU.

In the years 2006-2010 he was a councilor and vice-chairman of the Kościan city council. He served as the Secretary General of the Młode Centrum association, later the Projekt: Polska Association.

He co-founded the Projekt: Polska Foundation, where he was responsible, among others, for: for organizing the projects "Together 89" - a project of civic celebrations of June 4, 1989 and "Solidarity Generation" - a project involving young people on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Solidarity.

In 2007, he was a volunteer in Kiev as part of the Youth in Action program, where he promoted the idea of ​​European Integration. In the years 2011-2015 he worked in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
