Polish Presidency of the Visegrad Group

The V4 consuls performed in jerseys of the amateur football team ‘FC Echo Shanghai’, which was established in 2020 (the name of the team refers to the Polish-language newspaper "Echo Shanghai", which was published by the Polish community in Shanghai in 1936-49). It was the first official sports event organised in SASS. The match was played in 2 categories: individual and doubles. The match ended with a 2-1 victory for the SASS academic staff (individual game scores: 1-2, 2-1, 2-0).

Since 18 January 2021 the Research Center for Visegrad Group (RCVG) is located in SASS. The aim of the RCVG is to prepare analyses and expert opinions on the potential of the Visegrad Group countries and its relations with the PRC as well as scientific cooperation with various institutions of the Visegrad Group countries. On June 2, 2021 a  scientific conference on cooperation in the field of environmental protection between the PRC and the V4 is planned to take place at the SASS headquarter in Shanghai.
