Promotion of the Visegrád Group in Shanghai

May 22nd, 2021, at the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai, the V4 consular posts from Shanghai took an active part in a street festival organized by the Hongqiao District Government in cooperation with the Gubei Community Centre, the Hongqiao Shanghai International School (HQIS), the Hongqiao District Municipal Library and the Senior Professionals Service Office (SSWOT).
The event included dance shows, concerts, various competitions for children and exhibition stands where advertising materials on tourist attractions from different parts of the world were presented, including several countries from Asia, North America and Europe. Representatives of the Polish Consulate in Shanghai in close cooperation with the Czech, Slovak and Hungarian consular missions presented and distributed information and promotional materials about the Visegrád Group. In addition, at the joint V4 stand, visitors had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the original idea of the Polish Consulate in Shanghai - a magazine entitled "The Visegrád Echo. V4 Magazine in China". All visitors of the stand could take part in various competitions with prizes and quizzes about the V4 countries. The participation of representatives of the Polish Consulate in Shanghai in this year's street festival did not go unnoticed. During the event, which lasted several hours, the V4 stand was visited by a few hundred people in total.
