ARMA experts take part in LIX Panta Rhei Conference 24th-26th of May 2023 Ljubljana, Slovenia

The Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture actively participates in international meetings and conferences also as a member of the Panta Rhei association of EU paying agencies. Panta Rhei conferences take place twice a year, in spring and autumn. The conference is attended by specialists dealing with information technologies, aiming at further IT development, strengthening information security, adapting to new requirements.

During LIX Panta Rhei Conference the main topic was preparation for the development of the information systems for supporting new CAP, including monitoring systems and possible technical solutions for information systems, data management, and new tools for obligatory and other reporting systems.

Workshops:

The topics discussed during the first workshop were related to CAP performance & data management. The main goal of this workshop was to exchange practical experiences on setting up an IT system for performance and Data governance, to identify difficulties in setting the IT system, and approaches for overcoming them, to share best practices among MS’s Paying Agencies in the process of data collection to data valorisation (APR, Data for M&E, transparency, Strategic Plan’s implementation & evaluation).


The topic for second workshop was Envision – Needs of the compliance monitoring procedures for the new CAP from business cases (Lithuanian, Cypriot and Flemish Pas) and developed methodologies. The aim of the workshop was to present and discuss the solutions derived by the ENVISION and SPACE4GREEN projects, that can support the current and future needs of the CAP monitoring in the frame of an automated decision-making system.
