25th Anniversary of Poland’s Accession to the North Atlantic Alliance

On March 12, 2024, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary joining NATO, the embassies of these three countries in Cairo jointly organized a cocktail event in our embassy garden. The honorary guest of the evening was the Ambassador of Ukraine.
During the celebration the three heads of missions delivered commemorative speeches. Photos were shown from the ceremony of signing the accession documents in 1999 and the moment when the flags were hoisted at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Additionally, the cocktail reception was combined with an exhibition titled “Poland. 25 years in NATO,” curated by the Polish Ministry of National Defense. The exhibition is now displayed on the external fence of the embassy and accessible to a wider audience.
