Poland in Egypt

Under the leadership of the head of the mission, Dr. Robert Mahler, and thanks to the courtesy of the local archaeological inspectorate and the hospitality of the monks from the Monastery of Michael the Archangel, the participants of the visit got acquainted with the specifics of the excavation works carried out by Poles and Egyptians as well as the rich history of the place and local monuments. The joint participation of both Polish and Egyptian archaeologists in excavation missions in Egypt significantly contributes to the strengthening of mutual bilateral relations.
