Every refugee from Ukraine will find shelter in Poland.

  • Egyptian citizens whose security in Ukraine is at risk will be allowed to enter the territory of Poland for up to 15 days;
  • Crossing the border to Poland will be possible based on a document confirming identity (passport), also if its validity has expired. It is essential to submit to border control reliable documents on the basis of which it will be possible to confirm identity;
  • In each case, the Border Guard decides on the possibility of crossing the border individually;
  • Currently, all border crossings on the Polish-Ukrainian border are open to pedestrian traffic;
  • Before crossing the border, we recommend that you contact the Egyptian Embassy in Warsaw for the necessary formal and logistical support;
  • Due to the waiting time for crossing the border, we recommend to have with you warm clothing, food and water supplies, and the necessary financial resources.
