Chopin Piano Competition Final

On May 12, the final of this year's edition of the Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Egypt took place at the Small Hall of the Cairo Opera House. The event is organized biennially by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Cairo in cooperation with the RAHN Education Foundation and the Cairo Opera House
The event featured a concert by renowned pianist Mariola Cieniawa-Puchała, who also served as the chair of the competition jury, an awards and distinctions ceremony, and performances by the competition’s laureates.
After several days of auditions, the winners in their respective age groups were: Halaa Haytham Awad, Ali Abdelrazik, Youssef Margawe, and Carla Soliman.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winners and those who received special mentions. We also thank the audience for their strong attendance and for the warm and enthusiastic reception given to the performing musicians.
