01.03.2022Meeting of EU states' ambassadors with chargé d'affaires of the Ukrainian Embassy in CairoToday, the EU Heads of Mission met with our Ukrainian colleague at the EU Delegation. The Ukrainian Chargé d’affaires, Mr Ruslan Nechai, briefed us on latest developments, including the evacuation of foreign citizens via EU Member States. This was an opportunity for us to express again our full solidarity with Ukraine. By its illegal military actions against Ukraine, Russia is grossly violating international law and undermining European and global security and stability. The European Union firmly believes that the use of force and coercion to change borders has no place in the 21st century. Ukraine has the right to choose its own destiny.
