The ceremony of awarding the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland

On April 11th, H.E. Michał Łabenda Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Egypt, on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, awarded the Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland to the former Ambassador of Egypt to Poland, H.E. Hosam Alkaweesh. The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Egypt, H.E. Ghada Labib, Head of the EU Delegation in Cairo Christian Berger, as well as Egyptian diplomats and ambassadors from EU countries.
Ambassador M. Łabenda in his speech during the ceremony drew attention to the historically friendly relations between Poland and Egypt. He also pointed out that it was an extraordinary occasion to celebrate not only the traditionally good relations between our countries, but also to emphasize the gradually strengthening economic cooperation.
