Poland in Estonia

Just like last year, a ceremony expressing solidarity with Ukraine was held at the Solidarity Stone on the Freedom Square in Tallinn. The event was organized by the Union of Poles in Estonia "Polonia" and the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn.

In the frames of the ceremony, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland Mr Grzegorz Kozłowski and Ambassador of Ukraine Mrs Mariana Betsa delivered speeches, as well as prayers were said by the clergy of the Estonian Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and the Roman Catholic Church. The ceremony began with the Ukrainian anthem, "God save Poland..." and the Estonian anthem played by St. John church’s carillon.

The event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, national minorities of Estonia, especially the Polish and Ukrainian ones, and representatives of the municipal authorities of Tallinn.
