Creative Baltic Dinner closed the Polish Presidency of the CBSS July 2026 - June 2026 program in Estonia

Top events and achievements of the Polish Presidency of the CBSS July 2025-June 2026 have been presented by Katarzyna Barcikowska from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the leader of the program and key-note speaker of event in Tallinn.
Despite of heavy rain and a storm on the Baltic Sea guests visited the museum-icebreaker “Suur Tõll” to enjoy the Creative Baltic Dinner. From dozens of recipes published in „On the Baltic Fish” (cookbook by Polish MFA) we chose cod fish with mushrooms and asparagus. The main course has been served on the unique Baltic plates done by EUNIC-Estonia Baltic section members and the Old Town Society members in Asuurkeraamika on February 13. Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tallinn announced the program of our presidency in the Estonian Maritime Museum – Lennusadam on 2025, June 19 at the EUNIC-Estonia quarterly meeting and closed the cycle of cultural, political, scientific and public events of the presidency at the same museum on 2026, June 11 on- and under the deck of “Suur Tõll“. We would like to express our gratitude for the cooperation to Estonian Maritime Museum and ohter outstanding partners we work with on the Baltic focused program last year.
Ambassador Artur Orzechowski symbolically returned the CBSS flag to Ambassador Tõnis Nirk, representative of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and presented him mentioned cookbook with the motto ”The Same Sea in Us All” after Jaan Kaplinski. The sentence, chosen as the moto for the Baltic Sea Day in and Polish Presidency program in Estonia, remains handwritten by the Baltic Sea states Ambassadors in 8 languages on the title page as a visible sign of common Baltic identity, shared responsibility and solidarity.
Embassy of the Republic of Poland displayed the photo reportage of own Baltic events on the screen. There were also Joanna Concejo illustrations for her book “M as for Maritime” presented on the stage and printed on the beach lounge chairs. The Baltic Dinner was the last event of the Polish Presidential program July 2025-June 2026in Estonia. However our Embassy will stay on board in CBSS formats. You are welcome to visit our exhibitions & workshops at the Day of Coastal Folks (July 11, The Museum of Coastal Folks, Haabneeme) and the Baltic Sea Day (August 27, Estonian Maritime Museum -Lennusadam and ther Museum of Coastal Folks open-air branch in Viimsi). The exhibition of Baltic author Grażyna Rigall, delivered by the Nadbałtyckie Centrum Kultury in Gdańsk will remain open for the audience till August 7th in the Estonian Children’s Literature Center.
