29.04.2022On 2 May, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland celebrates the Polish National Flag Day for the first time in Tartu. The flag day was established by the Sejm (parliament of Poland) in 2004 to strengthen the identity of Poland and enhance people’s knowledge of its national symbols.

03.01.2022On the 1st January Poland has started its one-year Chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Thus, our country is assuming a greater role in shaping security and stabilisation on the European continent in the spirit of the Helsinki Final Act, whose 50th anniversary we will be celebrating in 2025.

10.09.2021On 6 – 7 September, Undersecretary of State at Polish MFA and Government Plenipotentiary for the Three Seas Initiative Paweł Jabłoński attended the Tallinn Digital Summit, the annual digital summit held in the capital of Estonia.

03.05.2021When on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.

02.05.2021The Day of Polish Community and Poles Abroad was established in recognition of the historical contribution of diaspora communities to the national objectives of the country of their forefathers. Celebrated jointly with Polish Flag Day, it is intended to encourage Poles to reflect on the glorious pages of the country’s past.

29.04.2021The participation of Deputy Foreign Minister Paweł Jabłoński in “Invest in Three Seas” forum in Tallinn was an opportunity to showcase the economic potential of Central and Eastern Europe and the Three Seas Investment Fund, an important instrument for financing infrastructure projects across the region. Hosted by the Office of the President of the Republic of Estonia, the meeting was attended by the initiative members’ government coordinators. The main target audience was business communities in the Baltic States and Poland.

15.02.2021Thirty years ago, on 15 February 1991, the presidents of Poland and Czechoslovakia, and the prime minister of Hungary signed the Declaration on Cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary in Striving for European Integration in the castle of Visegrad, Hungary.
