Ambassador Grzegorz Kozłowski opened an international exhibition of illustrations "Will the Baltic Sea be with us?", prepared by the Baltic Sea Cultural Center in Gdańsk, in the Children's Literature Center in Tallinn on 29th March.

The exhibition presents works by an international group of artists: Rasa Joni (Lithuania), Lucija Mrzliak (Estonia), Gundega Muzikante (Latvia), Justyna Nyka (Norway), Agata Półtorak, Grażyna Rigall, Wojciech Kołyszko and Joanna Czalewska (Poland). These are illustrations for the book "Baltek" by Anna Czerwinska-Rydel – presenting stories for children about ecological  threats to the Baltic Sea and joint efforts aimed at keeping it clean. Moreover, objects referring to Baltek's story made of waste and rubbish, which the sea usually throws ashore, are also part of the exhibition.

The opening of the exhibition was also attended by the director of the Children's Literature Center in Tallinn, Triin Soone, and director the Gallery, Viive Noor and the organizers of the project on the Polish side: Anna Misiek and Monika Konca, curators of the project on behalf of the Baltic Sea Cultural Centre in Gdańsk. Among the guests of the event were members of the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture of Estonia, representatives of the diplomatic corps, illustrators, educators and representatives of Polish-Estonian families with children.
