Anna Stodołkiewicz heads the EIC Fund Investment Unit of the European Investment Bank (Luxembourg).
The unit oversees direct equity investments of the EIC Fund, a venture capital fund launched by the European Commission (EC) to finance early-stage companies in Europe, focused on Quantum, AI, ICT, space, climate & energy, health & biotech. The Fund’s portfolio has reached €1.1bn investments in 280 companies, with additional €1.2bn in commitments to many more.
Anna has extensive experience in deep tech investments, she is an enthusiast of innovation and high impact technologies in sectors strategic for Europe. Before joining the EIB in 2016 (venture debt team), she worked in investment banking (equity/innovation) in the UK and Poland. She holds a Masters from the University of Cambridge (MA in International Relations) and the Warsaw School of Economics (MA in Law& Economics). She is a CFA charter holder and is a Licensed Investment Advisor.
