Bénédicte Charbonnel Zabdyr

Charbonnel

Bénédicte Charbonnel Zabdyr is programme manager in the « Poland » Unit within the European Commission’s Directorate for Regional and Urban Policy. She is responsible for the Programme European Funds for Smart Economy 2021-2027 which is supporting projects involving R&D, innovation and improvement of competitiveness of the Polish Economy.

In her previous role in the Commission, she worked on the simplification of Horizon Europe programmes. Before that, she gained experience as project manager in a laboratory of the French National Centre for Scientif Research (CNRS). She graduated in political science and European affairs from Science Po Lille (France) and from the College of Europe in Natolin (Poland).
