EU Innovation Journey'25

Michał is currently holding the EIT Director’s Head of Office position. His team supports the EIT Governing Board and the EIT Director operations and is responsible the EIT planning and reporting activities to the European Commission, the Council and the European Parliament. Before, he was leading the EIT Impact/ Monitoring Section, which was responsible for development, implementation and monitoring of the EIT horizontal agendas, including the EIT cross-KIC activities or the EIT Community Knowledge Triangle agendas (education, innovations and business creation). At the EIT he was also responsible for selecting and structing new KICs operations, including EIT Health, EIT Raw Materials, and EIT Food. Before joining the EIT he worked in the EU Delegation to Ukraine coordinating implementation of the EU funded technical advisory activities in the areas of knowledge economy and private sector development. Before joining the EC he worked for over ten years for the Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE) Foundation, the leading European economic think tank. From 2018 until 2023 he was a member of the CASE Supervisory Council.
