Piotr Jurga is an innovation broker and scientist at the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation – State Research Institute in Poland, where he supports the development and commercialisation of R&D initiatives. He co-founded the National Bioeconomy Hub and is involved in eight European and national projects, including Horizon Europe and the Polish LIDER programme. His work focuses on bridging science and practice through business models, decision tools, and policy engagement. He actively supports startups through the WAB 2.0 initiative and helps scientists transform early-stage research into applicable innovations. He also supports projects like S2MUR, an advanced IT system for national-scale crop monitoring.
