Maria Leek is a Policy Officer at the Partnerships sector in DG Research and Innovation from the European Commission. She contributes to developing EU R&I policy related to the design, implementation and monitoring of European Partnerships. Previously she coordinated the Estonian Presidency in the field of R&I that raised partnerships to the political agenda on the EU Council. In 2018 she chaired the ERAC Ad-hoc working group on EU Partnerships had to develop concrete set of requirements and strategies for the design and the implementation of the new generation of R&I partnerships
