Neville Reeve is Head of Sector for Missions in DG Research and Innovation at the European Commission. Previously, he led the strategic planning and setting of priorities for the Horizon 2020 programme, including coordination of the work programme. Trained originally as an engineer he has a PhD on the diffusion of mobile communications. Before joining the European Commission, he has worked in the UK, New Zealand and Germany, in the public and private sectors, on research and innovation policy and notably priority setting, evaluation and the measurement of impacts.
