The Consular Section announces important changes in its work schedule in relation to visa matters.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic Poland has been actively engaged in all efforts aimed at fighting both the disease and its direct consequences, as well as countering the impact we all feel in our societies and the economy.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta warmly invites to a webinar presenting life and achievements of prof. Józef Zwierzycki, a Polish scientist who had a great impact in the field of geology in the Indonesian archipelago (he was the author of the first geological map of the Indonesian archipelago).

The European Commission would like to hear your views. Through public consultations you can express your views on aspects of EU laws and policies before the Commission finalises its proposals.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best Polish language publication on the history of Polish diplomacy. The contest welcomes works which were published in 2020. Historians can submit their works until 15 August 2021.

From 30/12/2020, the amended regulations will apply to facilitate access to medical professions in Poland by: 1.doctors, 2.dentists, 3.nurses, 4. midwives, 5.medical rescuers, who obtained qualifications to practice the above listed professions in non-EU countries.

When on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania

The Day of Polish Community and Poles Abroad was established in recognition of the historical contribution of diaspora communities to the national objectives of the country of their forefathers. Celebrated jointly with Polish Flag Day, it is intended to encourage Poles to reflect on the glorious pages of the country’s past.
