Poland in Indonesia

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Visegrad Group (V4), the Embassy of the Republic of Poland is pleased to invite you to a webinar with the participation of the Polish, Czech, Slovak and Hungarian Ambassadors in Jakarta. The event is organized in cooperation with the Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) in Yogyakarta. The speakers will talk about the plans, experiences and relations between the V4 countries and Indonesia.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta informs that the Council of Ministers met at the Ministry of Finance in Dili and, after analyzing the presence of the Situation Room, the Integrated Crisis Management Center, on the status of SARS-CoV-2 in the country and the high probability of situations of community transmission, the Government decided to impose a sanitary fence and mandatory confinement in the municipality of Dili, from 00:00 on March 15 until 23:59 on April 2.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta informs that the Council of Ministers met at the Ministry of Finance in Dili and, after analyzing the presence of the Situation Room, the Integrated Crisis Management Center, on the status of SARS-CoV-2 in the country and the high probability of situations of community transmission, the Government decided to impose a sanitary fence and mandatory confinement in the municipality of Dili, for seven days, from 00:00 on March 9 until 23:59 on March 15, with the possibility of extension for another seven days.

Thirty years ago, on 15 February 1991, the presidents of Poland and the Czech Republic, and the prime minister of Hungary signed the Declaration on Cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary in Striving for European Integration in the castle of Visegrad, Hungary.

According to Circular Letter No. 8 of 2021 about Health Protocol for International Visitor to Indonesia during the Pandemic Covid-19 the current restrictions have been updated as follows:

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Jakarta informs that Timor Leste has extend regulation regarding temporarily closed its airports, ports and land borders to foreign and national citizens from 2 February to 15 February. This due to a recent increase of imported COVID-19 cases in Timor Leste.

According to the circular note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia No. D / 02626/12/2020/64 of December 21, 2020 and the Circular of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia No. D / 02638/12/2020/64 of December 23, 2020. Circular Number 2 of 2021 concerning Protocol Health of international travel in the mas pandemic corona virus disease 2019Republic of Indonesia , disappearing restrictions, referring to the Ministry’s Circular Note No. D/00060/01/2021/64 dated 14 January 2021, the Embassy inform that the Implementation of Restriction Towards Civil Activities (PPKM) as well the temporary entry restriction into the territory of the Republic of Indonesia enforced until 25 January 2021 has been extended for 14 days, which will be enforced starting from 26 January – 8 February 2021 through the National Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Circular Letter Number 6 Year 2021 on Health Protocol for International Travel during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period. The Embassy inform that the policy stipulated in the National Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Circular Letter No. 6 Year 2021, particularly regarding the health protocol for international travellers, remains the same as National Task Force for COVID-19 Handling Circular Letter No. 2 Year 2021
