Poland in Iraq

A professional diplomat with 30 years of experience working in missions in Arab and African countries: Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Kuwait, Tanzania, Libya, and Lebanon. He held the position of Ambassador of the Republic of Poland three times: in Kuwait (2001-2005), Libya (2010-2012) and Lebanon (2013-2017). His diplomatic missions often involved work in countries in crisis, with a high level of security risk. His professional career at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Warsaw has also been mostly focused on the Arab world. He was, among others, the Head of the Africa and Middle East Department for the Maghreb and Mashreq Countries Section in the territorial department of the MFA. He held the position of Deputy Director of the Africa and Middle East Department of the MFA responsible for the Mediterranean. On July 1, 2009, he received the diplomatic rank of titular Ambassador.
In the years 2023-2024, he worked in the Office of the Head of the Office for Foreigners. 
Since February 7th , 2025, H.E. is the Head  of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Baghdad as chargé d'affaires a.i.
He speaks English, Arabic, Russian and communicative French.
