Poland in Iraq

The MFA organised a series of expert panels and an information and promotional campaign under the slogan “UN Week” to mark the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations Organisation.

In his lifetime, John Paul II was often reproached for having his eyes fixed on the past, for not understanding the present and for not keeping up with the world. On October 6th, 2020 Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Erbil Dominik Musiał visited Koya University, where he met with the president prof. Wali M. Hamad, the deans of all of the faculties, students and researchers.

On 24th of September 2020 H.E. Mr. Marcin Kubiak, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Baghdad presented his Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Iraq, H.E. Mr Barham Salih.
