"The benefit of having our own currency, the Polish zloty, is precisely that we are able to conduct an independent and autonomous monetary policy which we consider to be an important shock absorber".

    On May 21, at the National Gallery in London, an exhibition of one of the most famous works by Jan Matejko, entitled "Astronomer Copernicus. Conversations with God" has been inaugurated. The monumental painting of the most famous Polish painter of the 19th century was brought to London for the first time in history.

    The Minister of Foreign Affairs announces a contest for the best foreign language publication promoting the history of Poland and the best Polish language publication on the history of Polish diplomacy. The contest welcomes works which were published in 2020. Historians can submit their works until 15 August 2021.
