Poland in Libya

The collapse of Soviet communism was a process that began in Poland, with the Solidarnosc movement eventually overcoming an oppressive and inhumane order. A powerful motivation in that drive was the desire to reconnect with international institutions and with Europe.

Love for individual and collective freedom is part of the Polish DNA. It has helped us survive the most difficult moments in our history.

On the occasion of the National Independence Day - October 11 - we convey wishes from Minister Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk for the Poles living abroad and the Polish diaspora.
