Poland in Malaysia

On 10 April 2010, a special TU-154M plane with the President of Poland Lech Kaczyński and the First Lady Maria Kaczyńska on board took off from Warsaw to Smolensk. On that very day the members of the official delegation were to participate in the ceremonies taking place in the Katyn War Cemetery, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the crime committed there. The aircraft carried 96 people, including members of the highest state authorities, representatives of various social circles and religious denominations, high-ranking military commanders and the plane’s crew. All the flight passengers died in the air disaster which took place during landing at the airport near Smolensk.

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur kindly informs that due to the current Covid-19 situation the Consular Section of the Embassy will be closed on March 19th until further notice.

In connection with the planned opening of receiving visa applications at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Manila, we would like to inform you that as of March 5, 2020, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Kuala Lumpur is terminating receiving visa applications from Filipino citizens intending to work in Poland on the basis of national visas and Schengen visas.

We would like to inform that the new slots for visa registration for February – March 2020 in the e-konsulat system will be published on February 19th, 2020 at 12:00 pm (local time). If you are interested and planning trip to Poland, please register.

Visit of SOHOM (Spouses of Heads of Missions) took place on January 20, 2020, to Taiping. The purpose of the visit was to donate part of the money collected during the SOHOM Charity Bazaar in Kuala Lumpur organised on November 19, 2019.
