19.11.2019Inauguration of the new headquarters of IT Kontrakt Services in Kuala LumpurOn 23rd of October 2019, Ambassador Krzysztof Dębnicki took part in the opening of the new office of the Wrocław company - IT Kontrakt Services in Kuala Lumpur. The IT Kontrakt company is the fastest growing Polish company in the IT sector in Malaysia, currently employing 60 employees, specializing in developing and maintaining customer IT systems.

19.11.2019Talk and photo exhibitions of the Polish cave diver Krzysztof Starnawski in Kuala LumpurOn 5th November 2019 at the GMBB Gallery in Kuala Lumpur a talk by Mr. Krzysztof Starnawski was held, entitled "Discovering The World’s Deepest Caves." Before the talk, an exhibition of 30 photographs of the author was opened, showing projects related to underwater cave exploration executed with National Geographic grants.

01.09.201980th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World WarEighty years ago, German aggression on Poland started the Second World War. In the early hours of 1 September 1939, troops of the German Reich crossed the Polish-German border. Polish Army put up military resistance and expected the Allies’ reaction. On 3 September 1939, France and the UK declared war on the German Reich but did not take any real military action. Poland’s tragic fate was sealed on 17 September 1939 when the Soviet Union launched the invasion of Poland from the East. The attack of the German Reich and the Soviet Union resulted from the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact signed by the two totalitarian regimes, a secret protocol to which effectively divided Central Europe into the so-called spheres of influence.
