National Institute of Telecommunications

The symposium focused on the challenges that will impact the telecommunications sector in the years 2025–2030. The event emphasized the growing importance of critical communications, analyzing their role in both the geopolitical context and in relation to energy, environmental concerns, and current legislative trends observed in Western countries. The symposium gathered many of the most influential figures in the Polish telecommunications market, including Director Anna Streżyńska from the National Institute of Telecommunications.

The program included, among other things:

• lectures on the security of telecommunications infrastructure in light of the new geopolitical landscape and emerging challenges for critical communications;
• discussion panels: "Challenges of the Telecommunications Sector as a Strategic Industry" and "New Technologies in the Telecommunications Sector."

During the symposium, the RFBENCHMARK Awards for 2024 were also presented in four categories:

• initiatives for the development of critical communications infrastructure;
• most dynamic network expansion;
• best LTE technology operator;
• fastest mobile network in Poland in 2024 and fastest 5G network.
