Seminar with Prof. Kris Gaj: Post-Quantum Digital Signature Standards and Hardware Implementations
24.06.2025
The National Institute of Telecommunications (IŁ-PIB) invites you to a seminar led by Prof. Kris Gaj from George Mason University. The lecture will focus on hardware implementations of emerging post-quantum digital signature schemes. Join us online on Friday, June 27 at 13:00 CEST.
Date: Friday, June 27, 2025
Time: 13:00 (CEST)
Venue: Scientific Council Hall, National Institute of Telecommunications (IŁ-PIB), ul. Szachowa 1, Warsaw
Format: Online
Talk title: Basic Features and Hardware Implementations of Post-Quantum Cryptography Digital Signature Schemes
Prof. Gaj will present an overview of the newly standardized post-quantum digital signature schemes (ML-DSA, SLH-DSA), the upcoming FN-DSA, and selected candidates from the ongoing NIST standardization process. The talk will compare hardware implementations of these schemes, their public key and signature sizes, performance, and implementation challenges, with insights into potential real-world applications.
The seminar will be moderated by Dr. Elżbieta Andrukiewicz, Head of IT Security Evaluation Facility (ITSEF), NIT.
