Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski took part in a meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers

The meeting began with an Allies-only session. The ministers discussed progress in strengthening deterrence and defence, analyzed threats and challenges to the Alliance's security, and summarized the levels of defence spending and arms production. The session initiated preparations for the NATO Summit in Ankara in 2026.
In his intervention, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski pointed out that talks on the future of Ukraine should take into account the security interests of the countries on NATO's eastern flank. He also stressed the need to effectively deter Russia and continue assistance to Ukraine.
The ministerial meeting also included a working lunch in the format of the NATO-Ukraine Council, which was also attended by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. The Ukrainian side was represented by Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. NATO and Ukraine ministers discussed the current situation on the front line. They also referred to the peace process coordinated by the United States.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Radosław Sikorski held bilateral consultations with his counterparts from Belgium, Spain and the United Kingdom, as well as with the US Deputy Secretary of State. In a joint statement to the media, the foreign ministers of Poland, Germany and Norway announced a joint contribution to the NATO-led mechanism for the purchase of American weapons for Ukraine (Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List, PURL).
