During their meeting at 32, ministers discussed issues related to further strengthening deterrence and defence capabilities and increasing defence spending. The Secretary General noted that Allies are actively pursuing the commitments made at the Hague Summit. An important outcome of the ministers' meeting was the launch of the Arctic Sentry initiative, which brings together allied activities in the region under a single command.

The ministers also met at a session of the NATO-Ukraine Council with the participation of Ukrainian Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.

On the sidelines of the ministerial meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister held consultations with his Swedish counterpart. He also took part in the signing of Letters of Intent on the deep strike drones, development and standardization of low-cost 500 km+ capabilities based on one-way attack effectors, fire capabilities Centre of Excellence in Slovakia, Task Force X Baltic (situational awareness tool), and multinational approaches towards military airworthiness in the context of a crisis or conflict.

The NATO ministerial meetings were followed by a session of the Ukraine Defence Contact Group (UDCG), chaired by Germany and the United Kingdom. The organizers and the Ukrainian side welcomed the new declarations of military assistance and cooperation between the defence industries.
