Poland in the OSCE

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, concluded his visit to South-Eastern Europe.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, will visit Belgrade, Sarajevo and Priština from 11 to 15 July for meetings with political leaders and discuss Poland’s engagement in the region as OSCE Chair.

“The world is at one of its decisive moments in its history. More than ever, parliamentarians face uncertainty about the future, and the future will be defined either by our ability to be guided by universal rules founded in our humanity, or by the whims of mighty forces,” said minister Rau. In his capacity as OSCE’s Chairman-in-Office, the head of Polish diplomacy opened a debate during the annual Parliamentary Assembly in Birmingham.

On Monday, 4th July 2022, the head of Polish diplomacy and this year’s Chairman-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) will take part in the 29th annual session of the Organisation’s Parliamentary Assembly.

OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of Poland, Zbigniew Rau, and OSCE Secretary General, Helga Maria Schmid, have announced that the OSCE has initiated steps to close the office of the Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine.

The Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC), the OSCE’s main event for enhancing dialogue on regional security challenges, took place on 28 and 29 June 2022.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau, concluded his visit to Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia today. The trip focused on co-operation with the OSCE and efforts towards stability, security and strengthening democratic institutions in the South-Eastern Europe region.

We, the Ministers for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Poland, and North Macedonia, as the previous, current and incoming Chairpersons-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), joined with the OSCE Secretary General in this statement on the occasion of the second edition of the Prespа Forum Dialogue (PFD).

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office and Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zbigniew Rau, will visit Montenegro, Albania and North Macedonia from 13 to 17 June for meetings with high-level officials.

In Warsaw on 8 June, Minister Zbigniew Rau, Chairperson-in-Office of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, met with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
