05.05.2026
On May 5, 2026, in the gardens of the Embassy, the 235th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of May 3 was celebrated.
In his speech, Ambassador of Poland to Pakistan, Mr. Maciej Pisarski, pointed to the importance of the Constitution of 3 May in the European and international tradition of expanding the catalogue of civil rights. Ambassador highlighted the growing importance of Polish–Pakistani relations and the intensification of political dialogue following last year’s visit of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Radosław Sikorski, to Pakistan. He underscored the significance of the cooperation agreements concluded between Poland and Pakistan, as well as the two countries’ collaboration in multilateral fora aimed at promoting peace and contributing to the resolution of armed conflicts. The Ambassador commended Pakistan’s mediation efforts and its constructive role in fostering peace and stability in the Middle East.
The Embassy was deeply honoured by the presence of the Chief Guest, Ambassador Ayesha Ali, Additional Foreign Secretary at the Ministry of External Affairs of Pakistan, whose attendance underscored the strong and friendly ties between Poland and Pakistan.
The event brought together more than 200 guests, including representatives of the state authorities of Pakistan, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of cultural and business communities, journalists, and members of the Polish community in Pakistan. It provided an excellent opportunity to promote Poland’s history, culture, and heritage in the heart of Pakistan.
