"Harmony of Melodies - Chopin & Friends - A Celebration of Classical Polish & European Music" gala concert

In honor of National Day of the 3rd of May and the Day of the Polish Flag,as well as within the framework of the Polish presidency of the EU Council, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad hosted a gala concert titled "Harmony of Melodies - Chopin & Friends - A Celebration of Classical Polish & European Music".
The concert was graced by the presence of outstanding Polish artists: Karol Masternak (piano), a participant of the 14th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, Kinga Masternak (vocals) and Kamil Mateusz Deryło (vocals). The trio performed the most important compositions by Fryderyk Chopin and Stanisław Moniuszko, as well as works by other European composers, such as Johann Strauss and Giuseppe Verdi.
In his address prior to the recital, Ambassador Maciej Pisarski provided a detailed historical context for the Constitution of 3 May and highlighted its significance for contemporary Europe and the global community.
The event gathered about 300 guests – representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as political and business circles of Pakistan, representatives of culture and art, Poles living in Pakistan, friends of the Embassy and enthusiasts of Polish culture and art.
