Poland in Pakistan

In this exhibition of digitized pictures carefully selected from various sources, we have the honor to present the profile of a renown Polish pilot, whose efforts forever connected two distant lands - Pakistan and Poland.

On the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day, the Embassy of Poland in Islamabad took part in an event organized by the EU Delegation in Pakistan.

The charging fees issues for educational services by public universities are regulated in the Act of 20 July 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science, and in the case of non-public universities, they result from the internal regulations of these universities.

Quarantine is not required when crossing the Polish border for persons who have been issued a COVID certificate of vaccination with a vaccine authorized for use in the European Union (fully vaccinated, 14 days after the last dose).

On the 13th of June 2021 the Embassy of Poland in Islamabad, together with the EU Delegation and other member states’ Embassies as well as a cultural organization FACE, has organized a concert as a part of celebrations of Europe Day.

On May 31, 2021, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad participated in an international sports campaign "Bike for a Green Future", organized under the auspices of the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Climate Change, the United Nations Development Program, and Urban Innovation.

When on 3 May 1791 the Four-Year Sejm also called the Great Sejm adopted The Government Act of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth later known as the Constitution of 3 May, the Polish-Lithuanian state became the Europe’s first and the world’s second that passed the basic law. For its time, it was a progressive and bold legal act which initiated a number of reforms. It also constituted a crowning achievement of the centuries-old links between Poland and Lithuania.

The Day of Polish Community and Poles Abroad was established in recognition of the historical contribution of diaspora communities to the national objectives of the country of their forefathers. Celebrated jointly with Polish Flag Day, it is intended to encourage Poles to reflect on the glorious pages of the country’s past.

Thirty years ago, on 15 February 1991, the presidents of Poland and Czechoslovakia, and the prime minister of Hungary signed the Declaration on Cooperation between the Czech and Slovak Federal Republic, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Hungary in Striving for European Integration in the castle of Visegrad, Hungary.

On the 15th of February 2021, precisely on the 30th anniversary of V4’s establishment, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Islamabad organized a media briefing with co-participation of the Hungarian and Czech Embassies.
