Poland in Pakistan

On November 15^th, a reception was held in Islamabad to celebrate the National Independence Day of the Republic of Poland. The event brought together over 150 guests, including representatives of culture, business, local authorities, and the diplomatic corps. It was a unique opportunity to promote Polish history and culture in the heart of Pakistan.

During the event, the Ambassador of Poland to Pakistan, Mr. Maciej Pisarski, delivered a speech in which he underlined the importance of Polish-Pakistani relations and the intensification of political contacts following this year’s visit of Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Radosław Sikorski, to Pakistan. He highlighted the significance of the cooperation agreements concluded between Poland and Pakistan, as well as collaboration in multilateral fora aimed at promoting peace and ending armed conflicts.

One of the key elements of the celebration was a golf tournament featuring prominent representatives of local authorities, the business community, and the diplomatic corps.
