As every year, Poles met on All Saints' Day on Mount Zion
Every year on All Saints' Day, Poles in Jerusalem meet at the Catholic parish cemetery on Mount Zion to honor the memory of our dead. On this special day, we also remember the Poles whose fate brought them to Jerusalem during World War II and who rest in this cemetery. Among them were soldiers, diplomats, civilians, but also children who went through the hell of Soviet deportations.
We would like to thank the Elizabethan Sisters for organizing the ceremony, and the Polish priests and monks for their spiritual service.
