Solidarity in the face of difficult challenges is a permanent feature of our policy. Poland does not leave friends in need.

Today, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Ramallah hosted a ceremony to donate 300,000 doses of the vaccine as part of Polish aid to Palestine. In the presence of the Head of the EU Delegation in Jerusalem, S. Kuhn v. Burgsdorf and the Representative of the World Health Orgnization for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Dr. R. Peeperkorn  the Representative of the Republic of Poland thanked the Minister of Health of Palestine, Dr. Mai Al-Kaila, and all Polish, Palestinian and international institutions, especially WHO and the EU, for their help in bringing this project to a happy end.

Containers with vaccines have traveled a long way from Warsaw to the West Bank, to finally reach the distribution center of the Ministry of Health in Nablus thanks to specialized transport provided by WHO. From there, they will be delivered directly to vaccination points in the northern provinces of Palestine.

We are proud that we were able to help Palestine in this way. Together we can do it!
